Spring is in the air and the Ants are right on schedule, steadily gathering food for the winter with great discipline. The Grasshopper, on the other hand, is passing his time playing melodic tunes on his violin as he revels in spring’s beauty while ignoring the coming winter.

In their exchange, both the Ants and the Grasshopper learn about what it means to be responsible towards themselves and others around them. However, trouble ensues when intruders from the city mismanages the forest irresponsibly. Will the animals survive to see next spring?
